Come Join the Fun!
Our annual Winterfest is set for Saturday February 15th. This year we are back at our traditional location, Stewart Lodge at Mendon Ponds Park on Saturday February 15th. We start set-up at 10am ready to get going around 11am. It’s a great location, the cabin is heated and warm, and there is plenty of space for antennas.
As usual we will have door prizes and lots of food. If you can, please bring a crockpot of something warm, we will award a prize for the best contribution! We are also inviting everyone to bring a dessert to share. Even if you don’t have an opportunity to make something please come along anyway, the more the merrier. RaRa will provide soft drinks and all the cups, plates, napkins and silverware needed.
We will have the club radio set up but feel free to bring your own gear. And if you are a newly licensed radio amateur this is a great time to meet other hams and to get on the air yourself.
If you would like to help set up, then arrive around 10am otherwise we look forward to seeing you at 11 for food, friends and amateur radio!
